Abstract: The volume gathers the contributions from a conference on the buildings Alberti designed in the second part of the 15th century. The discussion focused on the patron-client relationship, architectonic solutions, function of the structures, structure completion as well as major restoration campaigns. The contributions also shed light on the role played by the artisans and craftsmen who worked with Alberti on each building site.
